May need to check in with the surgeon, or place a call to your nutritionist if you have one to double check. My doctor's office suggested we use Bariatric Advantage vitamins, which are also chewable, and have the right amounts of vitamins we need.

You can google that company and see for yourself what they have to offer in supplement and vitmanis.

I would call your surgeon adn talk to them immed. It is still hard for me to take the calcium citrate pill and I cut it into 4 pieces. I didn't even realize we could or that they had chewables for adults. that would of been easier for me back them. Call your doc

I would definitely call the surgeons office for advice.. let them know what is going on. In the beginning I chewed up all of my vitamins and that helped a lot. The bigger calcium pills can be soaked in a small amount of water as well.. and just drink the water and toss out the clumpy additives. I use Centrum chewables and have since he beginning.. they work great for me!! Good Luck!

Oh boy, that's a scary thing. I will definitely be asking my surgeon about this BEFORE surgery. I have a problem with that already, whether i have food in my tummy before or not, i cannot seem to keep vitamins down. I hope i don't have this problem afterwords.

I wonder if it is the sugar in the flinstones chewables that is causing you a mild dumping syndrome and throwing them up. Have you tried the centrum chewables? Thats what I take, try switching brands and if that doesn't help definately call your surgeon.

I use a chewable as well, and I must admit I LOVE THEM. I love the taste, and it's a good thing since I have to take them 4 times a day! I get them from Target Pharmacy and they are called OptiSource Chewable vitamin & mineral supplement. Post BAriatric Surgery Formula. They are Yum-O! lol I also take a liquid calcium citrate, and a liquid Vitamin D.,(of which they have upped the recommended amount we should be taking to 4000 IUs daily now), these are both the Wellesse brand and are very easy to swallow.
