First and foremost I had the best birthday ever yesterday - not so much because I celebrated it because i had to work, but because this birthday marked a significant change in my life. I turned 51 and celebrated 50 years of life, the 1 signifies my new Birthday in this weight loss journey. A new year, a new happier, healthier lifestyle.

So I am just stopping by to touch base and let you know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. To those facing surgery today, you are in my thoughts and I will check in on you later, wishing it were me but knowing it will be soon enough. To those who have NSV's congratulations and keep up the good work I am so proud of you. To those with concerns, please know God is in control and he would never open a door or give you an opportunity for change unless he felt you were ready, so embrace your fears and then let them go and keep moving forward to your destination, I'm told, it will all be worth it in the end. To those so close you can touch it, like me, get your house in order, make sure you have everything you will need and brace yourself for the ride of your life. I know I'm ready. I love reading about all the victories no matter how small and I know I am moments away from adding mine so keep my seat warm.
