Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
I had a crappy day at work (I work for Hospice and we lost two beautiful young women today) and all I wanted to do was sit at the computer. But I remember that after you had a tough morning, you got your sneaks on and walked for an hour!!
So I got my sneaks on and walked in a cloudless sky with a beautiful breeze and racked up three miles before I came home. I felt soooo much better and so grateful for God's green earth.
Thank you my friend!!!
Becca my therapist came here from Oregon for work. She says its really nice there.
lovetoquit: The rain here has stopped.... I think I managed to send it south! Not sure it will make it all the way to you, but hopefully! :)
Foxey, take care of yourself and your fella! Exercise will be here when you are well! :)
Diane, so glad my "day" yesterday inspired you to walk today! :)
Katlin.... I have moved away from Oregon many times over the years, but something has always brought me back! :) Maybe its the green-ness :)
jjk and becky... Woot! Woot!
I guess now that the rain has stopped, I'll head out for my 2nd walk! :) :)
So...long story short... I probably got in close to 6000 steps, but that's it. Definitely an off day.
Love this exercise thread! It is so inspiring to hear what other people are doing. I wish all of you the best success!
