So I'm almost 8 weeks post op I'm down 40 pounds and feeling good. My only issue so far is constipation lol since the surgery my husband has been extremely supportive and has also lost 20 pounds watching what he eats. It also helps that I don't have to cook such fattening delicious foods lol We went out to eat yesterday and it was so cheap! Hahaha we spent an entire 25.00 that is including a tip at a Chili type rest. I guess it pays to not drink alcahol for the both of us. My husband ordered water and grilled chicken and I ordered a cup of chili. My son had mini burgers lol I am excited to say I'm glad we are on this journey together and I can't wait to lose and reach my goal. I'm at 190 right now and my goal is 140 :)

I took Dulcolax after surgery. Anesthesia and protein drinks can bind you. Works gently
I'm 1 month in and take a stool softener once a week so it's easier.
Hope I'd " goes" well ;)

Thank you :) I took a cleanser last night and it didn't do anything so this morning I did Miralax and finally was able to go. It's about time too I felt so much better lol

I say it all the time I'm so glad I did the surgery! I would not have lost half of the 40 pounds without it I hve a giant sweet tooth and no self control I would have already quit and gave up so though it may be hard at times I want to live healthier :) and yes I am having fun lol

That's fantastic keep up the great work. I will have to try the Miralax or Dulcolax for sure hate the binding. It is the most wonderful feeling in the world to finally lose weight. Happy Sunday everyone.
