I found the best protein powder mix from walmart.com, and I swear by it. In fact if I could put my name on and patent it I would do it. It is the Body Fortress Super Advanced Whey Protein Powder. I have been using it for months. They come in all different flavors and guess what, it doesn't have a chalky taste and you won't even think you are drinking a protein shake. My favorite one to use is the Chocolate Peanut Butter one, I mix that with milk and it is delicious. A 2lb canister is just $15.00 and each scoop has 30grams of protein. I hope this help some of you who are having trouble finding something that tastes good.

I have used this since surgery and love it! I have only used the Vanilla Body Fortress Pure Whey Isolate its 30 g of protein per serving and I love it :)

Mora2007 the only one I had tried is the chocolate peanut butter one. I want to use the other ones but I am so addicted to this flavor*lol*

becca1960
I've been meaning to add one of these too my 'collection' :) One of these and one from costco that I keep hearing about.

Cloowhoo and becca1960, after you guys try it please let me know how you like it. Since the weather is so hot and I don't like to eat alot, I can have two shakes a day sometimes and that is already 60 grams of protein.

How long was the recovery time from the surgery? Were you limited in what you could do
ChocolateAmazon
Recovery time varies for different people but for the first six weeks you are limited to what you can do and definitely can't lift anything heavy bnice597.

Thanks Chocolate! I have been wondering what to use. My doc recommends the Baratic Advantage or Unjury but they are so dang expensive. I have seen this one at Walmart and wondered if it would be ok for me to use after my surgery.

I'm having the sleeve done. Can you tell me what liquid diet they put you on prior to the surgery?
deleted_user
That's is what I drink very good, strawberry is my fave, taste like strawberry milk
ChocolateAmazon
bnice597 I was just on a liquid diet a week prior to surgery. I had 3 protein shakes a day and one meal that consist of 4 ozs of protein a day and veggies. So I had it pretty easy.
