Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.

She always has fun ideas and stays very healthy.
I find if I have a diet soda, it sets off my carb cravings. You may want to try and drop it for a while and see if that doesn't help. Artificial sweeteners can cause head hunger. If you have to have something sweet, go for berries or melon.
Also, if you get an Atkins or South Beach Diet book, and stick to the leaner meats, you will find great ways to prepare and eat the right kinds of foods for us, just make smaller portions. They're both about proteins followed with low carb veggies and fruits, just what the doctor ordered!!
Glad to have you here. Keep us in the loop. Hope to hear you're doing well soon.
I'm just taking it all one day at a time :-)
