I started having a pain when I swallowed - it was in a similar location. I am almost 8 months post op. I THINK it was that I had drank some juices that were too acidic and I had helped move some furniture so its possible i re strained my repaired hiatal hernia. Anyhow, I took GasX and Philips for about 3 days and that helped.
It was all across that section of my ribcage, but it definitely wasn't my gallbladder since I had that removed two years ago. I appreciate that though!!!
I'm definitely feeling better today and pray that I don't experience that pain again!
