I have the final pre-surgery appointment with the surgeon on Tuesday along with the pre-surgery consultation with the dietitian that day as well. Then on Wednesday my yearly female exam in the morning and then at noon a nuclear stress test that I am told takes 3-4 hours. Then after all that is done things get submitted to insurance for approval. I am going to try and schedule all the surgery stuff on Tuesday as well since I plan on not having surgery until after my son's birthday which is October 12. This is coming so fast that I can hardly believe it. It seems like it was just yesterday when I made the decision to go for the surgery and now it's almost here.
The nuclear stress test will go by fast. The test it's self does not take that long but the echocardiogram(ulrasound) that they do before and after is what eats up the time.

Can I recommend to you that when celebrating your sons' birthday, pretend you've already had the surgey. Birthdays for me are not the same as they were before.
