Sudden loss of energy and tirdness

Has anyone expereinced a sudden loss of energy and also tiredness with slight ache in calf muscles. I am 6 months out of GBS have lost 50kg (112 ilbs) and everything was running smooth until this episode yesterday. I cant think of anything except i may be overdoing my hourly excercise everyday and not eating enough lately. Any comments welcomed.

Just wondering if you have had any recent blood work to make sure your levels are good. Also, are you drinking enough fluids? Congrats on the weight loss. That is wonderful. It may just be that you are tired and achy from working out, but I would also look at your vitamins, potassium, B-12, iron, to make sure you are not lacking something. You can always put a ring into your dr. to be sure. Best of luck.

I have had a b12 jab today and alsohaving fullm bloods done on Monday, hooefully this will reveal something . Or maybe just a case of not drinking enough water.. By the way does drinking tea and coffee also count a part of ones fluids ?

I have heard that caffeine is not good for hydration. I do not drink a lot of coffe or tea so maybe someone else can answer that question for you. My dr. recommended not to drink much of that unless decaf. I know that is difficult if you are a coffee drinker. I would call the dr. office to ask. A nurse can easily answer that one. Glad you are getting your blood work done. Try cold water with crystal light in it. They are really good. I use the raspberry ice myself, but I have tried many of the flavors and they are mostly good. I do not really like the teas much because they are a bit bitter. Best of luck and let us know how the blood work goes. Sounds like you are doing the right thing.

I love love love the Appltini Mocktail that Crystal Light makes, the only problem is I drink so much of it , I sometimes get heartburn lol.
I'm wondering if it's possible your thyroid might have pooped out on you. I was having lots of issues with being tired, and fluid build up, it was because I had quit taking my thyroid medicine. That's just my thought though.. I tell everyone when they're feeling crappy like that to get their thyroid checked.

I am at 6 months too and have been tired too, labs are good, may be our bodies adjusting

Glad you are getting blood work done. Yes, please make sure you are getting enough water (stuff with caffeine doesn't count). Other stuff that can contribute to lethargy are not enough B12 or iron. When my muscles are achy, I try to eat stuff with potassium.
