Ok... I have to vent about this to people who might understand about not fitting....
Today, first day of spring term... at 8am this morning... My poetry class begins.
The room has those little desks with the desktop and chair all in one. And if I sit in one I cannot close the top comfortably, so I don't sit in them. I end up at the table and chairs that each room has for those who for whatever reason, need the table and chairs.
In this classroom it happens to be at the very back of the room. I am not sure which is worse, being at the front at the fat table or stashed away at the back... But thats another post!
So, teacher says, everyone make a circle with the chairs (What is this, kindergarten???).
I have 3 options;
1) Pull my table and chair into the circle.
2) Tell the instructor I won't fit in the chairs so cannot be included in circle time.
3) Squeeze my fat azz into one of the desk/chair things.
I chose option 3. It sucked. All options sucked! I am tired of this... I don't want to NOT FIT anymore! It is hard enough being older (like I am older than their mothers!) than most of the students, but to also not physically fit in is soooooo much harder and I am tired of it!
Can anyone get us to August (and surgery for me) a bit quicker!? Cause it's gonna be a long, big butt, circle time term!!

I can now fit in some booths.
Those school desk/chair combos were torture too. And office chairs with arms, can sit in them ok. Then stand up and the chair is stuck on my butt!
And as for the suckie chairs, just think of it as motivation.
My favorite thing about losing weight remains being able to cross my legs:) It'll happen for you soon.

Hang in there! August is coming!
School situations have not adapted for "the mature learners" that we are... And they really should... Maybe someone should address the ADA to educate the teachers on how to handle all students without making them feel different.... I remember not being able to fit in many chairs when I was in school a few years back... NOT FUN....
And yes, Sarge... Those booths sucked.... Haven't been out to eat yet, but can't wait to be able to comfortably slide into a booth...
Hang in there.... The warmer weather will help to speed up time...
