Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
I went on this site and a lady told me to cut out the protein shakes and switch to a protein clear liquid, called something like 24/7. Check at nutrition stores. It is in clear tubes, orange or cherry flavored and it's low in carbohydrates (unlike the shakes which are super high!) You !if it with water and put it on ice and...not bad! IT HAS EQUAL PROTEIN ( THE CARBS ARE WHY I HAD TROUBLE LOSING WEIGHT!!!) i switched to the ,24/7 and it worked! Suddenly I started losing much more and got down to goal weight. AlSo, when your hunger returns, it's hard for everyone to adjust.
Maybe the new weight loss from switching will inspire you to just walk around your neighborhood and cut out the chocolate.
