Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
I don't have any words of wisdom for you, but I'm glad you posted. I'll be waiting for a response as I almost there myself. Sure hope some folks come out of hiding with one guidance!
Blessings!

Also i pray that the MRI will give some idea as to what is going on yet not in a bad way. Sometimes we need results in order to fix what is wrong and they don't always have to be bad results.
I will be praying for you and please do keep us posted.
Good luck, hope they get it figured out quick!
I also added macadamia nuts, flavored almonds, peanut butter, and guacamole. I dont know if they have too much fat for you or not.
Popcorn is another thing I started eating to add fiber and calories.
You can find the balance!! Congrats for getting to goal!

Try Ensure high-protein drinks. They don't have much sugar. And eat more if you can. My problem is that I just don't get hungry often, so I don't eat as much as I should.
Try working in hot chocolate, tomato soup, milk (if you can tolerate it) and other liquids if you aren't hungry. This way you get calories even though you aren't eating.
I think part of my problem is that I've been morbidly obese since I was 5 years old, so I can't wrap my head around the fact that I need to gain weight. Psychologically I just can't fathom it because I've been in weight-loss mode for so long.
I guess being TOO THIN is a good problem to have, though :)
