Is there a State Board or website where I can research several bariatric surgeons? I've read alot of good reviews about them, but I would like to do a little more research.

If you are in the US try looking at the American. Medical Assoc. website and see if that will link you to something for your state.

I credential (i.e. dig up info on docs) for a living. According to your profile you're in MN. Here's the state website that had some info on the physician's medical background.

You can also verify that a physician is boarded by the American Board of Surgery by searching for them here. It's a little harder to understand, but you just want to see the word "certified" in the bolded box.
