It took me a year to get there but yesterday I went to my first post op meeting and it was awesome, in fact I think I will attend every month. After the post op there was the pre op one and guess who was asked to speak and share their story. Well your girl was a hit and afterwards this lady who was thinking about surgery came up to me and ask can she hug me because I was her inspiration. I hugged her and she started to cry and said she didn't have anyone in her corner. So I gave her my number. It was an awesome feeling knowing that my story can help and inspire others, and I might speak again next month.
