I just spoke to one of my sisters in my support group at the hospital - she had her weight loss surgery GBP two weeks ago and is already down 16 pounds - she is happy and doing well. Her scatica pain has decreased dramatically, she is as she put it "lighter on her feet" and enjoying the start of her decline. I am soooooooooooooo siked and look forward to the day when I can start tracking my own weight loss. God knew exactly what i needed this morning and her progress report hit the nail on the head.

How exciting!! It sure is great to hear the success stories from this side of the playing field... for sure keeps me focused!!

Tami, do you know about when you'll have surgery??? I won't be able to till Aug... but I think you are much closer than me!!

:-) I'm telling you a year ago I could NOT work more then 4 hours just one day on my feet(I work at Lane Bryant) without them swelling, turning red and being in so much pain as well as my knees an lower back. I now can do 8 hours 5 days a week no problem. The girls at work even said they never hear me complain about me feet any more :-) cus they don't hurt like they did!! Keep moving forward :-) soon we can hear your NSVs :-)

Hey everyone I have cardiology appts on the 19 and 20th and then my last preop with the nutritionist on the 22nd after that I'm headed straight for a date - so yes it will be sooner than later. So excited.

Yay Tami!!

It's so good to "hear" that cheerfulness in your posts again! God always knows what we need and exactly when we need it, He has perfect timing!
