I started my journey just over 300 lbs (I stopped looking after I hit 300). I lost 30 lbs before surgery and hit my target weight 11 months after surgery for a total loss of 175 lbs. I'm a bit OCD and kept a spreadsheet on my weigh loss. When I averaged my loss over the 11 months, it averaged 2 lbs a week (faster at the beginning then down to 1 lb a week near the end)
You have the right attitude. Just keep doing the deal and your body will end up a healthy weight. It isn't a race. It's a lifetime deal.

Chocolate, you have done SO WELL! Don't worry about the slows, as long as you stay on track you will be okay. Mine slowed way down at about 8 months, and I was slow to start with. Now it's like 2-4# a month. So what? This is for the rest of my life, I will get where I am going regardless of how quickly or slowly that happens, and I am okay with that. Of course, I am older and therefore my metabolism is slower too, so that could be part of it. I still think it's all good!
