Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
I am one who only weighs monthly. My weight loss the first 4-6 weeks seemed slower than many, and I could've gotten discouraged if I had weighed weekly. By the end of a month, you KNOW the scales will show a pretty good loss. Meanwhile, it's doable for me, because i"m concentrating on the process, and what I need to do each day to feel successful and healthier.

The best thing I ever read about scales was this tidbit, " no scale in the world can measure a human being's worth".
'Nuff said. Smile at yourself.
