I have wonder that myself. Good question I think

I think it means that you are not going to loose that weight unless you have it surgically removed

My Dr. told me I would most likely have about ten pounds of excess skin when all is done. So the options are to just deal with it or take it off. As far as goal weight, I guess the Dr.'s know to allow for the extra skin weight.

I see my Dr on Wednesday for my 3 month follow up. I will try to remember to ask that question then and circle back.

I am not so sure that the surguen cares about the ten lbs it is bmi that counts. you can tell the fat if it is under your skin. not hard to you know.

He can easily tell if your dehidrated or not taking vits and protien. Skin tone and say bags or darkening in the eyes or pucked in eyes tell a story as well as a lot of things like nails and shadowing. the way one carries themself. even if they walk down the hall in the center on the left side or on the right side. ha ha and you think a few lbs make any diffrence? It really is the overall big pic. A good doc can walk through the door and know how you are just by looking at you! He can even pinpoint the problem very fast.(for the most part)

Believe me it is true.

That's it. I'm still well above my goal but don't look like I've got thay much fat to lose.

I HAVE HEARD THAT ANY LOSS SKIN THAT DOES NOT RECEDE WITHIN THE FIRST 2 YEARS WILL NEED TO BE SURGICALLY REMOVED IF YOU CHOOSE THAT. I AM JUST SO THANKFUL FOR THE GREATER WEIGHT LOSS THAT THE FEW EXTRA POUNDS OF LOOSE SKIN REALLY DOESN'T MATTER TO ME.
