I thought the pre op liquid diet was the hardest part of the whole thing. Seems like it got easier the second week. The first few days were tough.
It is really worth all the effort when the pounds start melting away! It does get better!
Both your mind and body are going through a huge shift so be easy with yourself and just go with the flow. Lots of emotions come up for people around this time relating to grief, loss, fear, doubt, and others. Your whole life is about to change. Take it one step at a time and deal with whatever has come up in the moment. You can do this!

As everyone said, this is the hardest part, but keep in mind that compared to the rest of your healthier life, it's just a short time!
