Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.

We will get through this. My surgery is Nov. 2nd, and have all of your fears and THEN some.
You've found a great place for support and encouragement.
The adjustments will be worth it, we'll just have growing pains for a bit.
I just take comfort in so many that have had it saying how they'd do it over again in a heartbeat.
Good luck on your surgery.
I, like most people had the very same worries, and although you will likely still have concerns, it is a a bit easier once you have the surgery. You just deal with what you are able to manage. I thought that I had it all planned out and let me tell you, that what I had planned went out the window on day 3 when I got home. It will all work itself out.
You have joined an amazing site. The friends you make here become very dear, very quick.

I am new to this site, but I have already learned soo much! As stated in a previous post, the most reassuring thing is how many people say they would do it again in a heartbeat..
Hang in there...there are good things to come..
