Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
It may be a good idea to try that.

from my understanding protien can work for you or against you (sorta) it helps loose weight but body builders use high amounts of it to build muscle. so remember that weighs more the fat. you could simply be building your muscles and we need to do that to a point being so overweight we got stationary and they break down. (just my thoughts of course) you are doing wonderfully! good job.
My nut told me to increase the protein to 100-120g per day because I am working out and doing strength training at least twice a week. She said it will help keep my muscle mass stable because when we lose a whole lot of weight quickly, we also tend to lose muscle mass. Perhaps it is just that I'm gaining (or maintaining) muscle more now than I was....who knows?
I think everyone has a different opinion on the calories because I read between 800-1000 and then I have read that at this stage anywhere between 800-1300 is okay. I think it depends on the level of activity. I even asked my nut that question because I thought it just sounded like a lot. I'm doing really good to get to 1100 most days. A few days I will get to 1200 if I go out and eat a restaraunt or something like that, but those days are few.
I just get freaked out when I have these long plateaus like this and actually put on weight. I know that it fluctuates day to day, and water weight, etc. can affect it. I just don't want to be done losing yet....because I really want to ge tto my goal and I feel like I'm working so hard!
At this time, I don't have any other conditions (i.e. thyroid, etc.), except I do have low iron which just means I have to push myself to exercise because I'm so tired all of the stinking time.
I just didn't know if anyone else has experienced this?
Good luck to you, I hope you get what you want from this!!
