Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. I want to share this awesome recipe with you. I got it from a friend on a different support group board. It does have the fat in it from the PB, but it has lots of protein. You can use it on shrimp, chicken, as a dip, etc. Tonight, I'm using it in a chicken and snow pea pod stir fry. Enjoy!
Peanut Sauce
Okay, you can use smooth or creamy peanut butter, depending on the texture you want, but I always use creamy.
First, you need a few good scoops of peanut butter in a bowl. Once in the bowl, add small amounts of warm water - a little at a time - and stir the whole time you're adding the water. You want enough water to make it sauce-like, but not so much that it's overly watery. If you get it too watery, just add more peanut butter, and if it seems like it's just a touch too watery, don't worry - it'll thicken up while you make the rest of the meal.
Once you have the water added, add in the following, to taste:
Garlic powder
Soy sauce or Bragg's Amino Acids - both taste great
Salt - not much, since you're using soy or Bragg's, so taste it before you add the salt to see how it is
Hot sauce
Pepper
A tiny bit of lemon juice (which adds a lot to the shrimp!)
If you have it, roasted sesame oil - just a tiny bit - tastes great, too - same goes for adding some fresh cilantro, but if you leave the sesame oil or the cilantro out, it still tastes great.
Pour over your meal and mix it all together.

When I had some peanut butter on a spoon yesterday.......I couldn't take it........before that I was liking it.
Very finicky pouch here........I think it only likes hot sauce. LOL.
