Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.

Be your own best friend, and be happy with the decision you've made to improve your health.
People always mock what they don't understand.
When people ask me what I have done to lose the weight, most of the time I don't tell them about the surgery because I don't want to hear the negative. I just say diet and excercise!
Had my surgery the same day as you and I am down 55 lbs!
Sounds like we are right there together! Keep up the great work and ignore the negative!
If you are happy and your docs are happy then you know the answer to your weight-loss success.

Congrats on shedding 52 lbs! Feels sooo good!
