After a couple of months, I eat my protein which now consists of 3 oz for lunch and dinner, then if I'm not feeling full or I haven't gotten a sign from my pouch, I will eat a couple of spoon fulls of veggie's. That's about it for now!
I do know if you eat too much, you will wish you hadn't. You will have to really pay attention to the signals your body will give you. For me it used to be a runny nose, but now it's more like a big sigh, then I know I've had enough. If, for some stupid reason, I try to ignore the sign and eat another bite or two, I'm usually miserable for a couple of hours. I've only been sick one time because I ate too much. I'm a little over 3 months out.
Concentrate on Protein and water daily, those are the most important and be sure and take your vitamins daily.
Hope this helps a little....
=)
I know a lot already, but I can't seem to wrap my head around this concept, LOL!!!

It took me a while to get the hang of everything.. But trust me you will figure it out..Dont fret too much..
YOU know, I've just always been in that "mindset", like with Weight Watchers, and eating balanced meals, in my past attempts with weight loss. I didn't want to NOT get the nutrients our bodies need, but forgot about the ton of vitamins we will be taking!
A good thing, is that I realy like protein. I love tuna, chicken salad, eggs, cheese, yogurt, pudding...
I think i'm gonna like this! bUT I KNOW, you get tired of the same ol' thing, so I do have other ideas...but always love those refried beans too!
Right now, it's so hard to imagine eating 6-8 teaspoons of tuna or chicken salad, and then be full!! LOL!!
It will be a good thing, once the weight starts to come off.

I've had no problem getting in some veggies and/or fruit every day. Not like the 5 servings thingy... but I do get them in. And I also get in at least 80 grams of protein a day.
I know this does not work for everyone... but it does for me. And I am learning to be thankful I can eat so easily because it does allow me to get in a balanced diet.
I eat very few carbs, but I do on occasion have a whole grain flax seed flat out (has 9 grams of protein). So I even get some whole grain type carbs too....
:) Good question Boo!
