I've had my share fair of emotion eating issues. I'm not much for group support...I just don't do well in group setting. That said, there are many other options. I am constantly researching and trying to find answers for myself. Coping for an entire lifetime isn't easy...but you can do it.
I practiced this early on to prevent the dreaded foamies. Now, I practice it to keep myself mindful of how much I'm eating and focus on healthy choices. Since I eat so little nowdays, it's really important to use fresh, healthy ingredients. But I can now afford one, small, lean, steak, a nice pork chop, a salmon fillet and 2 chicken breasts, for a weeks worth of dinners and lunches, instead of a 3 lb. chub of hamburger, a Boston butt roast and a big pack of chicken thighs with skin.
