We've been taking precautions for that and I got my "friend" today so I don't think that's possible. I have thought of it prior to this post today, but I really don't think I am.

Some people become more sensitive during ovulation and have common aches and pains. Does it happen monthly or daily? If its reoccuring then maybe its related, but then it might not be. If any doubt, ask your Dr :)

It's happening daily. Not just when I'm PMSing. I really hate to ask the surgeon about it since I get easily embarassed, but I might have to!

Does it only hurt when you take off your bra? It could be the weight of them. I would talk to your gyn, the surgeon didn't mess with that area and probably has no clue. Your obgyn might have a better idea as to what is going on. Have you noticed any lumps or bumps. I have benign polycystic breast disease, which is fancy for lumps and bumps that aren't harmful. They can sometimes be sensitive but that's just me. Ii hope you find an answer, keep us updated.... I am curious as to what's causing it . :)

Yup, it's only when I take off the over the shoulder boulder holder! LOL

I just had my annual checkup in February, and I definitely didn't have any lumps that they were concerned about. But I think I'll take your suggestion and give the GYN a buzz about it.

You might also try getting a professional bra fitting. You may be wearing the wrong size and type of bra for you now that you have lost weight. Also, even if your "friend" arrived you should do a pregnancy test (I can't tell you how many patients I take care of with regular periods and positive pregnancy tests).

Mine are the same way!!! I have always had "tender breast" when I PMS but this is worse. I think I am PMSing when it happens however, it starts about 2 weeks before my "friend" comes. I am 5 mos post op and the last 2 months have been very uncomfortable. Even if I cross my arms under my boobies they hurt. Mine hurt so bad last month I did take a pg test... thank heavens it was negative.

Well, I can't say I've had soreness in my breast, but you should never be embarrassed about talking to your surgeon about anything. He's most likely heard it all by now. You can also try talking to the nurse, if that's less intimidating. Either way, you need to let them know you having this issue, just in case it might be related somehow. Otherwise, I would definitely look into getting a new bra. I've already lost some of my D cup, but not down enough for a C cup - so I've got some open space in my cup area to deal with until I can lose more weight. That seems to be the first place that goes on my body.

Thanks ladies!! I probably am due for a bra fitting and a good one at that. My bras seem to be fitting fine, but who knows. I'll take a pregnancy test to be on the safe side.
