Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
if you have to keep on shakes see if slim fast or try mayoplex sp? there are a few out there my first program was really picky. as Sarasota said the carnation (sugar free) was on our approved list. you may be sensitive to the sweeteners in them try unflavored powder also may help.
I started with EAS light but eventually I couldn't stand it. Then I moved to Muscle Milk 100 for several months...until I eventually couldn't stand it, either! I've been using the same stuff for a few years, now. I still have to admit...sometimes I can't stand the last 1/3.
Another option is to get the unflavored "Injury" and add it to your yogurt, pudding, etc.
