Pre surgery test stress

Well I thought I had neatly done all my pre-test exams, and now I'm having to go for my 3rd heart related test this coming Thursday.

Of course I hope it's nothing, but I have a million questions about how whatever this is or is not will affect my Gastric bypass surgery.

I guess I'm not looking for advice. Just experience if you have it and prayers and good wishes.

Yeah the tests can seem endless. They are necessary though to make sure you have a safe and successful surgery. If you have have a million questions the best person to ask is your doctor

Yes question your doctor. Make a list with everything you can think of. As soon as you go in you have a thousand question and can only think of three of them. Good luck with lots of prayers coming your way.

you guys seem to have to have a lot of test in the ol U.S of A. I only had a swollow test and that was because i had a lapband coming out

Yes we do. I was cleared by my heart doctor for surgery and a nurse decided she and an INTERN thought they heard something. I had to go thru some other tests. I was furious they questioned my doctor who would never had ok my surgery if there was a problem. Everything was fine. I have never seen that nurse again, I refuse and they keep way away from me.

EKG, Stress test and CTA (CT scan of arteries) all done as of yesterday. Dr. Hart and team are reviewing my "pre-surgery package" and I'm hoping for a call to schedule my WLS.

Thanks for the support. I go to my second in-person support group meeting tomorrow.

I'm starting to not enjoy my favorite bad foods as much. I think all of this awareness is making me realize that "they" are not my friends.
