I went for a 10 minute walk down my hallway - three trips back and forth and no sooner than i came back inside i got the bubble guts and pooped. It was of normal consistency and color (no signs of blood) or anything abnormal. I'm starting to question if they really did the surgery because I'm not going through anything out of the ordinary - is this normal in some instances? I just need to know.

I thank God for this site because where else can you discuss poop and it's consistency amongst people who will truly understand?

Good for you.... I am pretty sure you are just doing absolutely great and having nothing out of the ordinary going on....
See, all those prayers and your faith have really helped you.... Keep it up... You were well prepared and are following all the rules, and are going to do amazing..... I am sooooooooo happy for you....

Tami - I thought the same thing after surgery. I felt so normal. Aside from the four little incisions not much had changed.

The only thing now that has changed is I have green poop because of the iron that we take.

Be blessed that you are doing so well. We are so lucky not to have the complications that some have - The sign of a good surgeon and God's love for us :)

I flew thru too, except did too much and forgot to drink
Dehydrated once
So happy all is smooooth ;);)

Congrats! I couldn't come up with even gas for several days after surgery.
This is a great site and we do discuss ANYTHING!

There is no out of the ordinary, everyone is very different and experiences different things. I had the gastric sleeve, and it his been full of ups and downs for me, over two years later. Just take things as they come. If you have a concern, call your Dr. office, mine are great, they always have a nurses line to talk to someone if you have any questions, and I have had a lot !!

It is great that we have a place to come to ask because sometimes even if you have supportive family it can feel very lonely. Like no one understands. I am pre surgery so I can't answer whether or not it's normal, but you sound like you are doing amazingly well and are giving me inspiration I need to keep going in the journey!

It sounds like all is going well, Tami, and that is a blessing. Like you, everything went so well and I had so few complications that I began to question whether they may have forgotten to do anything while they were in there - lol. Just count your blessings and keep following the program, girl! You're doing great!

Thank you everyone i feel wonderful this morning. In fact I am up getting my glam on for the first time in 6 days so I can go meet with my surgeon at noon. The only discomfort is sleeping at night but other than that i am truly rocking this so far - love and blessings to all

You are doing great! I had the same thoughts/feelings right after surgery. I didn't "feel" different inside. You'll be okay, sweetie!!
