There have been many posts lately about plateaus.
I have been 162 for 3 months now.
I am 11 months out but still trying to hit at least 148 so I can say I am not longer obese.
Yes I know it's a running joke... my goal is to be overweight ; )
I am only 4"11 and therefore I need to weigh a little bit less than most to be "normal".
I try to help others when they feel stalled.
I know there is really no finish line.
So feeling that I needed a lift I got out my measureing tape and got to it.
I pulled up all my old numbers from my www.fitday.com and guess what?
I have lost 86 inches!!!!
My bum (hips) went from 58 to 40 alone!!!!!
I measured my neck, thighs, calfs, wrists, forearms, everything and added it up.
Actually I didnt add my wrists to that so I think it's over 90 inches!!!!
I'm pumped!!!!!

Hope - that is so great! I look forward to my hips only being 40". They are by far the biggest thing about me right now. You look fantastic and I still think you should post pics in those gorgeous boots you bought!

WOW!!!

That is a great post for us all. Sometimes the pounds slow down, but the inches keep coming off. Soooo happy for you, Hope! This is amazing!

Can I just say, WOW! That is so fabulous. I've heard of others here (not recent posters) who also had long plateaus when they got close to their goals, so that's probably not uncommon. Just keep moving, if you can, maybe try to build some muscle...

WOW you should be so proud of that accomplishment. You are a little peanut 4'11"! AHHHH : ) I am 5'9" and it is sometimes hard. Good for you and I love your puppy :)

HOLY CRAP Hope - that is freakin' amazing!! Truly!!! Gosh, I thought that I did well at just 52'' - I bow to you girlfriend!!!

I really encourage ALL pre op people to take measurements!!! When the scale is not moving, the inches will still likely be coming off.

Way to go Hope!!

Congrats on the inches. Apparently weight loss has affected my vision . . . I'm off to make a call to the eye doctor.
