Plateau's Stink

Well I have been in a slump lately. I was soooooooo eager to drop below the 300lb mark and I have been on a plateau at 302-305. Teasing the heck out of me. I have been really trying hard to stick to my diet plan and have been successful. I am just now getting out of the slump so I am back here to my support system. Hope everyone is doing well!!!!

Good to see you! Aah, those plateaus are ugly little buggers! I figure it this way.... they make is oh so strong and determined!! If we can get thru the stuck scale... while staying the course, we can get thru anything!

Hope it breaks soon for you...!

Plateaus are normal, it's your body's way of saying it needs a break from the changes it's going thru. Once your body is ready you'll see that scale move again.

I totally agree with Shelley. Through the scale out the door! I had to make myself stay off of the scale. I was stuck for at least two weeks. So, I still don't know for sure if I have succeeded in breaking through, because I made a pact with myself that I will only weigh once per week on Saturday morning.
This Saturday will tell the tale. I'm really feeling better, been exercising, and working on getting my protein and water in daily. I'm sure it will be down again in a couple of days.

Thank you guys. I have been on this plateau for about a month now BUT I have been dealing with meds changing so I am hoping now with all of that squared away I will drop. I was weighing every day but definitely stopped that. I weigh about every 4-5 days. My spirits are lifting and my exercise is increasing.
