I think that when normal size acquaintances look around they categorize the people they see into "Normal" or "Fat" categories. As long as the person is still in the "Fat" category and not wearing baggy clothes, they don't notice the weight loss. They finally notice weight loss when the person moves from the "Fat" category into the "Normal" category.
I am testing my theory at work and it seems to be holding true. I have gone from 292 lbs to 232 lbs since 11/6. I started in a size 22/24 and now wear a size 18 and the only person who noticed was someone else who is heavy.
I leave for Disney World in 46 days and I can't wait. To be more than 100 pounds light than the last time I was there is going to make it so much more enjoyable. I won't have to worry about fitting into rides or squeezing through those stupid turnstiles! Plus all of the walking will be awesome for me too! I am so excited.
Even though I have such serious complications and almost died, I have rebounded and feel awesome and I am glad I did this. It is going to make the rest of my life so much better and more enjoyable and longer too!
