Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. You could always make 1 egg and 1 oz crm cheese to give it a try if unsure :)
Before surgery my kids and I made pancakes every Saturday. But my pouch will not have them anymore. So I make German pancakes instead. They love them! Plus they are so much easier to make.
You can make them in a 13x9 baking dish but they're best in a 10 or 12 in. cast iron skillet.
Preheat oven to 350
Cut 1/4 cup real salted butter into pan and put in oven while it's preheating
Mix 1 cup milk, 1 cup flour, 6 eggs, and a little salt with a mixer until completely smooth. Batter will be very runny.
Once your butter is melted in pan pour batter into pan.
Bake 40 minutes for the 10 in skillet, or less for the bigger pans.
Top with fresh fruit whipped cream, or anything you like.
Yum!
