Hello Canadian friends!!
I know there are a lot of you on here, so I hope you'll answer something for me.
My husband is attending a conference in Toronto in late June, and I'm going to go with him. Very excited about it, because what little I've seen of Canada I just loved! But I'm not very familiar with Toronto--tell me some great places to visit and things I must do there. (Any spas you'd recommend? I'll have some time by myself a couple days.)
And a question for anyone...do U.S. citizens need a passport for Canada now? And is six weeks enough time to get it?

I know that we need a passport to enter the US, I would assume that it is the same to enter Canada. You can put a rush on the passport by paying extra.
Not sure about spas in TO but if you are able to travel to Niagara Falls there is a great one at White Oaks Inn.
If you can get to Niagara Falls (about an hour and a half from TO) make sure to go to Niagara on the Lake as well.

I've been doing a lot of research, and the city seems awesome. I think my biggest challenge will, of course, be food!! A million restaurants, none of which I've ever been to before, all which look fantastic (though pricey; we're not used to big-city prices!). But eating out every meal for a week will be tough, especially since I'm used to taking much of my restaurant meals home.

Oh, and I'm very excited about the cool temperatures there! Weather sounds perfect...Toronto's high temps appear to be like our lows this time of year! It will practically be winter for us...lol. Now if I can get used to thinking in Celcius (and Canadian dollars!)

Ally--I DID read about the shoe museum, and my husband says that's the perfect place for me to go...on one of his conference days so he doesn't have to come with me...lol!
