OT Prayers to those affected by todays tragedy

As I turned the channel to watch one of my favorite shows I got a glimpse of the special report that there was a shooting in Newton, Conn. where there at this time was 26 dead of which 18 are children. I kept my little boy home from school today because I just want to love him and take a day to appreciate the fact that I have this blessing in my life.

It is just devastating. I cannot imagine what that community is going through right now. Sending lots of prayers.

This has got to stop. I don't know how but how can we accept that an entire kindergarten class is killed and not do something to stop this violence.

oh my lord, what kind of demons roam around us. I am so sick and tired of mean, violent, robbing, murdering, abusers !!!!! My heart is ripping apart for those families affected by this. How do you recover from something like this ......... God help us !!!!

Precious heavenly father above, please wrap your arms around all those that are affected by this tragedy in Connecticut, give us all comfort and inner peace.

We do not understand the reason for this. We can't justify a reason for this in our own minds. But We know that you have our lives planned out for us before we are born and although you didn't plan this shooting you knew how long or short our lives are/were to be.

This isn't a easy thing to accept for any one that has watched or listened, seen or been part of this tragedy, we ask for your guidance with our healing process and especially the other students that you help them to heal fast.

They say children heal faster than we do as adults and I pray that this is truly the case.

I ask these things in your name. Amen
