Well I am a little over a month post op and this stops me in my tracks. After every meal, and I mean every, I start having horrible gas bubbles and then becase of the burps I get the hiccups. I end up vomiting after this saga terrorizes me for awhile and I am at a loss. I am calling the surgeon's office to ask about it but it scares me beacause of what I have read here. Anyone else have same issues or close?

On the brighter side I am down 47 lbs since surgery on dec 31

I did this too. are you on solid food? If you are sometimes we have to take a step back and just to soups and shakes. I had this problem and did that and ended up being fine. but still call the doc. Take care and keep us posted.

Haven't tried gas x yet but will talk to doc about it. I am on solids and will be on full liquids to see if it helps. I haven't dealt with the vomiting until recently and I am over it.

I'm exactly a month out like you
Same symptoms, didn't chew enough.
My pouch got angry
Like someone else posted, went on liquids a day or 2
Calmed my pouch and now I chew, chew, chew!!
Just my 2 cents
