I can so relate to your comment about not having the feeling the best years have passed!! I am still preop, but I am already getting that feeling.
I was so despondent (?), feeling like I had no more options and was going to end up like my dear, sweet sis-in-law who sits in her recliner all day, watching soaps and eating... being kept company with all her ailments (I love her to pieces, so don't get me wrong here!). While everyone else was out living their lives...
But now, I feel like there is hope! And even just the 18 lbs I have lost have made a difference in how my body feels...
So, thank you for reminding me I have hope!! :)
I wish I had some advice on how to overcome those cravings, but I just don't... I have turned to warm green tea instead... The warmth settles my tummy when it is upset, and I guess it is my new liquid addiction...
I hope it gets easier for you... Hang on to all the positive things happening....
