I finished the last of my pre surgery testing today!! Had my cardiology appointment yesterday and an echocardiogram today. Now all I do is wait for my final insurance approval! My surgery is scheduled for three weeks from today (9/12). I am so ready to do this yet scared to death at the same time.

Kelly I think we all felt that way!! You know the losing weight and all the good things that go with that is all worth it!!!!
You'll be loosing weight fast and soon!

after the first three months, you will feel normal again. After 6 months you will feel better than normal and you will be getting skinny. After 9 months you wil worry that you may start to gain weight again, because there will be some days you almost forgot that you had surgery.

Relax, and know this is the best gift you will ever give yourself.

you are almost there and you will be fine. I am 3 1/2 weeks out and i would do it again in a heartbeat as well.

I'm so glad you finally made it through the appointments - especially the sleep studies! I can't wait to hear about your surgery and recovery next month!

Keep on top of things with your insurance. Some places drag their feet. I waited 10 days then called my insurance and found out I was approved. So give them a call in about 10 days to check on it. Good luck. debby

Wishing you nothing but success! I was like you scared to death and thinking the day would never get here but it will fly by. Keep yourself busy and try not to think about it
