Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.

I encourage you to get a notebook and take your body measurements now. Then do it every week on the same day. You will be so encouraged when you see that your measurements are changing most of the time even when the scale seems to be stuck. :)
Keeping a food diary (online at Sparks people) and weekly weigh in (whether I want to or not) as well as reading these posts have helped me stay on track. I think recording nutrition, exercise, moods, weight etc...is important to long-term success. It's also important to stay in touch with people like us who are going through it, have gone through it and are long term successes. We sometimes have slip ups, take a wrong turn or have unanswered questions and this support team will help get you through...whatever! I am so grateful for all of you!
Here's to the healthiest version of you!
