So I am almost 7 months out, and pretty much just living the routine and enjoying my new life. The scale has lost its grasp, I can go days without weighing. I am still losing, I just don't seem to care how fast or slow. But back to my topic. I have days where some new NSV just strikes me out of the blue. Today for the first time in years I could tie my shoes standing on one foot without falling over. Lol. I also noticed that I can walk back an forth through the horse pasture to do something with each horse where before I would have taken steps to walk as little as possible.
A few days ago my husband was rubbing across my back and it was an odd feeling of being so much less back there. Like the sensation was ending much sooner.
I have also found myself wondering this week. -- I wonder if when I was gaining weight if I went for a long time still thinking I was thin, and still acting as such. Somewhat reverse now of needing to remind myself that I am no longer obese so I can do that now. It is hard to break the physical habits of being obese. Things like having to sit to put on shoes and not wanting to take on activities that require walking because I used to be exhausted before I started. It is like I constantly have to remind myself that I can physically do that now without discomfort. Anyone else have that?

For me, I know one day I caught myself putting on my socks standing up... and that was a weird revolation! And some days, when I leave work and walk to school... and am tired from all the long days, I think "I'll just catch the bus today instead of walking"... but I just keep on walking! Have not caught the bus once... Figure I'll save that for when the weather is REAL BAD... but until then, I'll probably *think* about doing it here and there!
