Hey all! I am so excited right now. I have lost 78 lbs so far on this loosing journey since i had surgery in September 2015. I have also dropped 4 dress sizes so far - yippee! I had the BEST NSV from my middle son this weekend and i had to share it with everyone.
My son, who is 13, was looking at my wrist kind of strangely. I asked him if anything was wrong and he said no, he was just surprised at how much weight I had lost. He said that he could really tell that i am now so much skinnier (I'm now 200 lbs so I'm not that skinny - yet) when he gave me a hug. He actually used the word "skinnier" - I have never been skinny or anywhere near it my entire life!
I just had to share my remarkable NSV!

For him to give me a complement is a very big deal! I am so proud of him and the growth he has accomplished. I tell him all of the time that everyone has hidden (and not so hidden) demons - the trick is knowing how to concur those demons and move forward in life. His demon is his insecurities about being "good enough" - mine is my addiction to food. Together we will battle our demons and win!
