My husband and I went to Atlanta to visit friends last weekend. The four of us rented a boat and spent 4 hours on a lake. We anchored in a cove and swam.. had a great time. I swim at the gym but haven't bought new bathing suits since last summer.. I've been wearing my size 20 suits thinking that they are ok since bathing suits are body hugging anyway.. Well.... we got home from Atlanta and I was rinsing out my suit and Bob said- "Hon, you need to throw that bathing suit away." (The main reason is my poor boobs don't fill it up anymore.) Anyhow, I ordered two new suits on-line using their sizing charts which said I should order a size 14. I was skeptical but did and they fit!! One is a two piece and looks pretty good. The best part is how proud Bob is. Even though he reminds me that he loves me no matter what my weight is, I like knowing that he likes how I look now. Kathy

AWESOME!!! OMG! I'm so happy for you! I go to the gym 3 days a week and take a auqasize class, but since my surgery I haven't been able to go. I still have to wait anthor couple of weeks, but then I wonder if my suits are going to fit. I think I probably should try them on, maybe I'll have to go shopping....LOL

Congratulations Kathy! That is so great! Sounds like a great trip!

Banshee, I got back in the pool a month after surgery. Love my water exercise classes. I'm in my fourth bathing suit since then. Get the cheap ones on clearance! I always ordered online and went for a smaller size than I thought I needed but they always fit. I went 30 - 26 - 22 - 18 in less than five months! Woohoo!!

That's so nice! Good job and I understand about the suits I had a friend of mine sew mine for me to bring it in because well there expensive and I really liked it lol

That is awesome! I 'm pre op but had to wear mine a few days ago just because it was so hot and I look...well to be honest...round lol. I went to pack it for the my island visit and couldn't find it anywhere! I think it slunk away on its own...I can't wait until I can get a smaller one!
