I loved gently scrambled eggs. Refried beans with a tiny bit of melted soft cheese and smooth taco sauce on it, not salsa, was tasty. I got my Italian fix by putting cottage cheese in a bowl with hot marinara sauce over it, later on, I added cooked ground sausage to it too, and then melted a little grated mozzarella and parmesan cheese over the top, YUM, soft food lasagna!
Cooking ground pork with Asian sauces was good too: oyster sauce, teriyaki, nuoc mam. I added ground portabello mushroom to my ground pork and cooked them with a little garlic and chili sauce and loved that. I still like to make that, only now I don't grind the pork and mushrooms, and I'll add snap peas to them for crunch and eat it wrapped up in a lettuce leaf.
Anyways.... a little distracted right before lunch. :)
Not sure why water won't sit right for you, some days that's all I could keep down. Something that went down well for me was warm tea with fresh ginger steeped in it. Ginger tastes good and settles stomachs too.
Hope something here helps. Happy healing!!
I also pureed stuff you wouldn't normally think to do, like canned corned beef hash, it tasted really good. I bought canned fruit in their own juices and ran them through the blender. I really liked pureed pear "sauce" on ground pork.
Take care.
