I definitely think you should supplement with probably two protein shakes a day. They are part of what you can be sip sip sipping! It's sooo important. Eventually you won't need them, but early on you definitely do.
Best to you!

Thanks all! And I'm glad to know its not just me.
taking in up to 3 shakes a day will fill you up and take the place of food. My program for people not having complications takes people off shakes and recently my friend was told no more protein bars. They want all her nutrients to come from foods they stay with you longer then shakes. Every ones program is different so do not be afraid to call your bariatric dr for medical issues, nutritional, issues , or any other things you feel they need to answer for you that's why they are there.
It will get easier soon. You tummy is still swollen and grouchy with you. :) give it a few weeks and more will go in.
One thing that helps me is using the unflavored protein powder too. I can add even half a scoop to things and the numbers add up!
Anyways, give it a read.... it might help! Its only my point of view.... but ya never know!
