I won one about 3 months ago in a contest and I haven't even had it out of the box because I had just bought a new one. I think Karen (Karenwantsbetter) has one.

I want one so much! I'm looking forward to reading the replies so I can drool LOL. A Ninja is just not in my budget.

I would love a Vitamix but a Ninja is more in my budget. I'm really just considering the one from Walmart, but I might not even do it. I'm very stingy.

yeah why are those dang things so expensive ? my poor blender works double time ! lol not budget friendly at all !

I got one at Target a couple years ago for Black Friday shopping. I don't know what I would do without it. Seriously, I ditched my blender and mixer because they were nothing compared to it. Mine isn't the uber expensive version, it has a large and small container and in interchangeable lid and blades. Check out Amazon. I bet they have different versions.

My hubby got me a hand held blender/mixer thing from Amazon for Mother's Day. It's ok, I asked for it. I LOVE it. It was less than $40. Not sure the price of a ninja...

I was just looking Kmart has one for alot cheaper I don't think it comes with all the bells and whistles but if it is a ninja shouldn't it do the same thing ? and doesn't K-mart have layaway ? I'm hoping...lol

I've got to say, I love my Vitamix...I was wary of spending the money on it, but we've used it several times a day for over a year, now (hubby does protein shakes, too). Nothing makes shakes as smooth as the Vitamix. I also love that I don't have to put it in the dishwasher. To clean it, you put water in it and a dab of soap and run it on high for a minute or so. Rinse and done. I use a portable blender when I travel and am always glad to get back to my Vitamix!

I have a Vitamiix, and I also have GE version of the Magic Bullet that has individual cups with the screw on blade tops from Walmart for $19. It's not a strong blender, but its good enough for making protein shakes/smoothies.

I bought a Ninja on Black Friday last year at Walmart when they were $79. I took it back 2 days later. From what I found, unless you're making an entire pitcher of drinks, those 3 blades going up the middle don't really come into play. With just making one drink, it was barely reaching the second blade and with that level of stuff in it, it didn't work any better than a cheap blender. So I took it back. The vitamix is great for mixing frozen things and solid hard fruits like apples, peaches, pears, and ice. For just mixing protein powder with a cup of non-sweetened fruit and a banana, the GE thing does just as good. It comes with 4 big cups, 1 small cup, 1 blender blade and one chopper blade. Best $19 I've spent since surgery. It's no powerhouse for frozen or hard foods, but for mixing, it's handy and fast.

I LOVE my ninja!! We got one when i was i was on the puree stage and it was so nice! I got the one with the 16oz. master prep bowl which i use all the time and it came with the 48oz. master prep pitcher and we paid $80 at traget for it.

I loved mine, i used ot about 3 1/2 weeks. It purees much better than chopping. I even put my chicken tenders in it to puree. Came out like weT sand texture but "it taste like chiken" LOL I say it was worth 20 bucks.... Good luck !!!

I have one. Initially I was super impressed. Not so much now. Mine came with the square pitcher and stuff gets stuck in the corners - duugghhhh..... One of my lids leaks already and I bought it not even a year ago. I would not buy it again knowing what I know now. I should have bought the magic bullet!!

I have only used a shaker cup with lid and metal ball in it for my shakes and it seems to do the trick. I have a blender and a Macy's brand Magic Bullet version but haven't used it. I have used the Macy's brand Magic Bullet version for fruit smoothies a couple years ago when I bought it but honestly it's just been sitting in the cabinet the last year or more! I like my shaker cup I got at WalMart for $8.00 I can make the shake and drink it all in one glass and lid helps with the whey protein smell. It's easy to clean too!
