I wasn't going to speak on it because I am really trying not to blow what I heard our of proportion what what are some of the things that can prevent you getting clearance for the surgery? The reason I am asking is because when I went for the sonogram of my stomach #1 it took too long #2 when was over a second technician came in to redo a certain area. #3 while i was fixing my clothes I head one of them say something about my uterus when she was looking at the screen so I asked and she said we are not allowed to say, your doctor will contact you - well hell if your not allowed to say then you shouldn't have said anything in front of me. I am beyond nervous and worried now that they found some kind of abnormality that could prevent me from getting the surgery. Trust me, I am trying not to worry but I am loosing this battle. Any advise/feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I hate when they do that. maybe its gallstones or something simple like that. lot of people have them and don't know . try not to sorry and call your Dr Monday

Thanks Lineka but i had my gall bladder removed almost 4 years ago now so i doubt its gallstones. I will talk to my doctor on monday but i doubt the results will be back that soon I just took the test on Friday but one never knows. be blessed sweety

wow sorry you heard them say something and that is something that has happened to me twice. You are right, They can not say any thing to you , the doctor has to tell you the results. It is one of those nasty games they play on you. I would call my doctor as soon as possible and let him know what you heard and ask him for some fast results because it made you really nervous. I do not know if this helped you at all . praying for you .

Wooow that just stinks :-/ I just had a endoscopic... I was put to sleep for it. And a ultra sound for my liver and it was quick and painless... She didn't speak at all except to tell me when to move. I hope it's something minor or nothing at all. The waiting would drive me nutts but we are here for you. Ugh! they should have shushed up :-/

Call your Dr. first thing Monday morning and request results. Tell them what you heard, the results should be available sometime on Monday and your Dr. Office can request stat results. I would also make sure to contact the person in charge of the area where you had the test and explain the anxiety that you were caused by the insensitivity of the technicians. This should not happen, I know it's hard but try not to stress out, you can't change anything and it may turn out to be nothing important.

its most likely and new tech trying to learn i know its hard not to worry but all will be ok we tend to stress and worry about everything whatever it is guess what you have to deal with it so relax and enjoy the weekend until monday take care i hope for the best

Many times the person administering the tests are not the same person who is certified to read the test results. For all you know they could have been marveling at the size of your uterus or maybe noticing a jaunty little tilt to the left.

I wouldn't worry until the doctor says there is reason to.

I agree with the rest call monday and talk to doctor or nurse. Sonogram results are done the same day so shouldn't be a problem getting them, They probably have them in office as you are worrying about this.

Don't worry about this. Enjoy your day and know that tomorrow you can get some answers. Like someone else said it could be nothing. Techs are bad about doing that stuff and it irritates me as they know they shouldn't be. If it was something that was really serious i know here most would of had the doctor in house at the facility come in and re-look.

Hang in there and let us know what you find out.

So sorry that they were not more professional. I agree that I'd call a doctor first thing Monday. If this would happen again, I'd suggest that you tell them you are very concerned and want to see the radiologist on call. No way that you should be put through this over the weekend. Sending prayers your way for a fast weekend and good outcome.

Thank you all for chiming in I have done everything humanly possible to take my mind off the slip including praying and putting it in Gods hands what else can I do. If this surgery is meant for me it will happen. I was moved to tears because I would hate to think everything up till now has been a waste of time, so I am praying against all odds that there is no validity to what i heard or if it is - it's easily correctable. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your support.
