Hey all,
So I am going to (slowly) start writing a book about my WLS experience... My goal is to have it different than most you see out there. This is not about the 'how to's' so much, just more of the more personal side of the journey... The speed bumps, the funnies, the hard stuff... probably written in true Becca rambling style :)
It I am sure will have a chapter on the "things I wish I knew sooner" and a resource chapter so people can find the "how to" books...
But I want mine to be about the emotional part of the ride... the ups and downs... and considering I am only 4 months post op, I have lots to learn and experience yet. I hope to have it cover at a minimum my first year, maybe the first 2 years... (i can always write a maintenance sequel! ha ha!)
So... what I am seeking from all of you, and from other WLS sites that I visit is your input.... things like this:
>What has been missing from the books you have read.
> What do you wish you had known preop or at least sooner because you might have found out the hard way.
> What cute, hard, emotional, etc story/experience did you have that you think might be of interest to share.
> What was the hardest thing you've experienced?
> ANYTHING you think that might be great addition to my book! Don't be shy... I'd love to hear your experiences and such!!

It's gonna be awhile, ya know... I'll be doing it in my spare time! (Like i've any of that) More like it will be when I need to be doing homework, but need a break for a bit! :)
