that is a tuff one. You have to change your attitude about food. Look at it and think about what it is doing to your body. Did you go through all of this to gain it back? And remember... eating junk food is NOT going to make you more money.. it might save you some on food but not enough to make a difference in your bank account. If you do the shopping dont buy it. If you really really need it buy it in a single serving, than it will cost more than healthy food and maybe you will buy the heaalthy snack instead.

I agree with sweetsal. Your sad and down about the money issues, which believe me I so understand. But eating junk isn't helping is it? You feel bad because you know your not eating right and so that ON TOP of the money issues, just makes you feel worse. I am a snacker too, I would rather grab something quick then fix a meal and only be able to eat a little of it. BUT I have been trying to find healthy alternatives. Like I will eat an apple with peanut butter for my protein. Yogurt with walnuts. Tuna fish with whole wheat crackers. All of these give me that feeling of snacking, but are healthy. And none of them are expensive. I also find if I have a protein shake in the morning. I like to make mine with Jillian Michael's protein powder, splenda, frozen strawberries and 2% milk. I find that it helps me to not feel the craving monster all day and starts me out with a great amount of protein. I use two scoops of the powder which are 15 grams each. I really hope some of these ideas help you! I am 2 1/2 years out now and trying very hard to maintain and stay on track.

Look at what you do spend your money on and budget. Put yourself first, maybe there are things you spend money on that aren't necessary.
