Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
The foamies (mucous) happens when I don't chew well and eat too much.
Be sure to eat slowly, chew, chew, chew, and chew some more before you swallow, and if your nose starts to run stop eating.
Give it as try and see if that helps.

Slow down, enjoy your food, and pay attention to your body. It will tell you when to stop as soon as you give it time.
Another mistake I did with similar results was eating just the right amount of food, but not waiting at least 1/2 an hour afterwards to take a drink of water. Gave me the same issue, backs up on top of the food, triggers nausea, and then a run to the porcelain bowl. Yuck.
Nose runs
Sneezing
Then I have to go to the sink and spit up mucus. Then I'm fine. Doesn't last long and no pain in involved.
I have had the foamies too when something makes me sick, completely different thing.
