Lord I am beyond words right now as I learned tonight that my 72 year olf mother has been hospitalized in North Carolina. She suffers from bronchitis and has been sick since her visit to New York a couple of weeks ago. Apparently she's been laying up in the house not answering the phone or door for anyone and not eating properly so I had to send my 82 year old aunt to go get her out the house and to the emergency room. She has been admitted tonight and they plan to keep her to try and clear her lungs. After the past two days of trying to reach her I am completely drained, exhausted and beyond concerned. Apparently she has been taking prescription drugs to deal with her pain and zanax to help with her depression since my stepfather died, both of which she has become addicted to - direct my path Lord because something has to give. Do i make plans to go to NC to relocate her to NY, do i postpone my surgery? What do I do Lord pleaseeeeeeeeeeee guide me Father, I am at a complete loss.
He is your rock. I know it's very hard at times, but even if you have to lay your burden down at the cross over and over again, just keep trusting. He will strengthen and comfort you.

It is hard being the oldest girl (not child) but the only one with common sense to handle business when it comes to her. The other siblings have not forgiven her past transgressions and therefore do not have a caring relationship with her. I've learned to forgive and move on but even in the worst of times between us I never let her go in my heart so it was easier for me to always be there. There are only 2 out of 6 living that are close to her and that makes it hard on us. But GOD. I just keep telling myself that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me and then i press on through the next challenge.
I know that the prayers of the righteous availeth much, so all I ask is that you continue to keep my family lifted in prayer. Your love and kindness is felt, never doubt that.
This is why I always try to treat everyone with respect and compassion because you never know who God will put in your path to say "hey I care". Thank you from the bottom of my heart for offering. It is appreciated and will never be forgotten.
